Ishq means ‘divine love”. Located along Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, Ishq was founded by Heath and Xena with a vision to create a space for healing, union, and creation. They run their own retreats and make the space available for others with a similar vision.

The power of the land still reverberates with our deep longing for connection and union. Archeologists near the site of the project suggest that it was on this land that humanity’s common ancestors first gathered in community, driven to cooperation by an ancient climate crisis in the last ice age. The legacy of those who have walked this land before, that community holds the key to the emergent of new design structures for a better future, is one that in honor and respect, Ishq building upon.

With a main house and several cottages on the property, Ishq can host retreats for up to 20 people. Our recently completed workspace is ideal for yoga, group work, and corporate trainings. Phase 2 of the project will include a lab space and venture studio.
