Ishq is us, Heath and Xena. This is our home. Our dream for Ishq is to invite many to simply come home, to experience our container for rest, growth, connection, and creation. We do this both through our own retreats and by inviting others to use what we have built for their own visions. In short, a place where those who come, can call their own.

We run both healing and business retreats but their common theme is deep inner-work. We have found that what is often keeping an individual from thriving is trauma related. We work closely with Avalon, a new somatic psychotherapy modality.

Avalon is a set of practices and methodologies that pulls from psychotherapy, most significantly psychodrama, transpersonal, and integral psychology. This work is delivered through group processes.  Community and connection are essential to this work. The love, care, and connection that one receives from a community has always been an essential healing salve for humanity and is core to Avalon

When an individual’s trauma is released in the body and they are held in by a community through their integration process, stable self-led leaders emerge.  Accessing more of their core self, new capacities present themselves leading to increased grounding.  These capacities include an increased awareness and compassion for others together with an ability to stand in power.   Further, in those who grow through Avalon, we observe increased spiritual awakening, clarity of purpose, and capacity for action
